Did Rove say he had been told about Plame by another reporter ...
before Novak? Maybe I am wrong, but I think I read that in an AP report this morning, but when I went back to the article, it was gone? Anyone else read that? That's why Rove told Novak that he had "heard about it" when he was asked by Novak about Wilson's wife.

I see a lot of reports that attribute Rove's knowledge of Plame to Novak? Which is true?

1. This is just more confusion put out by GOP and (Rove) Lawyer
apparently this replaces "I didn't know her name and didn't leak her name"

Designed to muddy the waters and give Karl more wiggle room.

I just don't believe it.

4. Novak found out before Rove "confirmed" it to him
However, this doesn't mean that Rove found out about it from a reporter like they are trying to spin it...

And again, this was leaked by one source who is in the "legal" profession and would have access to what Rove said...

Namely, his lawyer...

7. The new claim is that Rove heard from another reporter not Novak.
But somehow Rove cannot remember which reporter he heard it from. Even though the White House has phone logs. And even though Rove seems to be able to remember every detail of his conversations with Novak and Cooper.

The "I don't remember who told me" defense smells to high heaven. Especially since it's the fifth change in Rove's story.

8. If there is any truth to it - Novak heard from Miller who heard from Rove
at their weekly breifing IMHO.

Rove tells Miller, Miller tells Novak, Rove Confirms for Novak.

10. Is Miller on the WH payroll, like Armstrong Williams?
That is one possible explanation for all the Chalabi sourced stories she wrote and why she is "afraid" to testify now. IMHO, speculation of course.

3. If Rove is innocent....why didn't he come forward earlier and say
something?....The fact that he has been laying low and not giving an explanation seems to point to his guilt!!!!

11. Right. Rove claims "another" reporter told him - but he can't remember who
I think he's gonna get slapped with multiple counts for LYING to the Grand Jury, CONSPIRACY to defraud the government, OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE, and just maybe he'll also be charged with KNOWINGLY DISCLOSING INFORMATION ON A COVERT CIA AGENT.

So far, the Establishment Media is focusing on the KNOWINGLY charge. This may be the least of Rove's worries.

The more they throw rocks at Joe Wilson, the guiltier they are. Creating a diversion is a Rove technique that just does not apply at this point. Nobody's gonna look away. Rove is in the spotlight.

Shining a light on Karl Rove is like throwing water on the Wicked Witch of the West.

13. Don't buy the spin
put out by his lawyer. It's an attempt to sway public opinion. Public opinion is the only chance they have IMO.
