in the south?

Because they found another group of Americans to demonize and use as a wedge issue - gays.

2. I think you are right
Basically the Repubs are saying that African Amricans can now be the attackers too because the target has changed.

It seems to me that you can have Republican values OR you can have Christian (do unto others as you would have them do unto you) values, but you can't have both.
