Oh. Oh. Let me in the room with Les Kinsolving.
(Al Franken show)

What a partisan, bitter, angry old HACK. Al was not on his A game, and the freepers are going to be crowing about that interview for ages. I was foaming at the mouth. Yeesh.

Al and Les in a bitter verbal fight about Rove, and all of a sudden Les says "You do think Bill Clinton should be considered, don't you!"

Al stutters-- didn't know where that came from.

Les: "The SILENCE, ladies and gentlemen!"

Al: "No-- no-- that is, I don't think he'll be considered."
Les: "But you think he should be."
Al: "No, because President Bush wants a conservative!"
Les: "How about because he was DISBARRED!"

I would never let him get away with that. I hope he goes on Randi next. She'd bitchslap him but good.

Poor Al.

2. Not a problem.
First of all, BC will NEVER be Shrubs choice!

Second, I believe his license to practice law was suspended for a period of time, but not indefinately. Five years comes to mind, but I don't remember!

BC wouln't want the job!

4. I'm sorry, but Al is easily flappable...
he's incredibly intelligent and one of the funniest men in America, but he's just not going to be able to hold his own consistently with any of the right wing tongue waggers.

I've seen Al on his A-game and it's awesome, but it seems that if he hasn't gotten enough sleep or is in a bad mood, things just fall apart. I can't blame him, the same thing happens to me.

5. Les sounded insane
Cackling and giggling and some of his answers to Al's questions made no sense. And how about his comment about Sharon Stone? He basically called her a porn star.

6. I have one good thing to say about wingnut Les
He has been very respectful of Helen Thomas and more then a few times he's said to Scott---"Please let Helen go ahead" "Helen is not done asking you the question Scott" and thats more then i can for most of them in that press corpse. Other then that he is nuts.

7. Anyone who watches WH press conferences
knows what a nut he is -- a loose cannon to whom Scottie goes when he is in trouble while the rest of the room roll their eyes. He is to the right of Ashcroft. I was stunned to hear he would be on the show -- but now it's clear that, alas, Al didn't do his homework... Thought he was just a colorful, eccentric guy who savages both sides. Dream on.
