In the America I grew up with...

there were plenty of hateful people and plenty of religious people. However, most of them understood that they were entitled to their views as were other people, but they were not entitled to force their views on others nor were they entitled to be cause direct harm with their hate without facing consequences.

BushCo has thrown that America by the wayside. Through their words, and more importantly threw their immoral and criminal actions, they have openly given license to hate and oppression. This regime must be toppled, and soon, before it's too late.

7. My point is that through the 70s and 80s this sort of hate was

essentially closeted (at least in the Northeast). Those who were of this bent knew that they should keep their hate within their own circle and not unleash it on the rest of us. Bush has given license for the haters to run amok and has even encouraged it.

will do to a nation...but the other poster is right, the only difference now is that this admin doesn't even try to hide their hateful ways.
