7. Simple difference

When you are riding a bicycle properly, seated squarely, holding tight and passong over solid terrain, bicycles don't just fail and dump you on the ground...you either have to do something wrong or an external force has to act on you.

People are using the Segway in the manner that the manufacturer intended, operating it safely, and it's failing and injuring them anyway. This is a sign of a flawed product.

Personally, I like the Segway. I hope they get adopted on a wider scale, that the price comes down, and that they help to get more cars off the road. Still, this is an unacceptable problem that the manufacturer needs to address.
