19. I don't know. Yeah, he's a cannibal and all, but
in the sequel, he saves Clarise and, to escape, cuts off his own hand rather than hers. All in all, we're talking about a major league pschopath who has style. It's hard to hate him.

Try a character who is a vinditive little crap who works behind the curtain and possibly holds more power than he has earned (perhaps all the power) of a regime.

Someone who has used lies, treachery, and deceit to get to where he is.

Someone who is not physically imposing at all.

and the movie's name was "Predator", as in an entity who stalks and kills another/others.

13. I liked the thread a few wks ago
comparing Rove to the brainbug from "Starship Troopers."

Can't find it now, but it was an apt comparison.

26. I can't believe you said that
I was just going to post the same thing! I was thinking of the scene when he took a poker and got it hot to threaten the heroine's face. The look of pure, sadistic evil. . .that's our Karl.

22. No one truly evil.
Just some jackass punk who has the ear of the powerful, but never has to face any harm himself.

I'll have to think about it for a bit. (I like the suggestion of Wormtounge from Tolkien.)

Played unctiously by Dan Seymour.

He was a bloated, deeply corrupt fascist cop with fingers in everyone's pies.
