Cheney should step down for health reasons
Why this isn't getting pushed is beyond me.

He has a possible aneurysm(dilation of arteries behind both knees), acid reflux, heart disease, and a whole other host of issues that may also be present. High cholesterol, high blood pressure are possible as well. He's got a pacemaker set to deliver shocks to the heart.

The dilation of the arteries can also form blood clots which can be very dangerous as well. They can cause strokes, heart attacks and other problems.

His medicine cabinet is probably loaded with all sorts of medications.

If this was a dem vice-president, the repubs would be screaming their heads off over his physical unfitness for the job.

But because he's a republican he's above all that. Dontcha know??! Plus he has to get more money for Halliburton and himself so he won't leave until he drains us all. As Mike Malloy says he's a vamp.

3. If Cheney steps down, then Bush will appoint someone who will then
have the inside track to the Republican nomination in 2008. The way it is now, all the candidates will be clawing at each other's eyes.

5. I have always said that I think that's exactly what they have planned.
Whoever they dub as the heir-apparent will be moved into the VP slot for coronation at the convention in '08.

14. Well, (ha ha) I've also been saying that I think they're going to try to
start grooming Jeb for '08. However, I think Jeb as the VP replacement would be VERY problematic. There would be a nepotism uproar that might backfire on them.

6. If Cheney steps down who will be the President, remember the
bike riding espisode not long ago, when Bush was not informed of the small plane flying around the capital area until after it happened.

We know who is really in charge.

8. Those of us who have loved ones with the disease know that you could
just feed the "shithead" hotdogs for two meals in a row and get into 'special services" and "diagnosed with something" .. when it is convenient.

Esauaphagelitus. Not great! But add a pill and it it is fine for the next twenty.

Pretty much the least of Cheney's problems. And easily treated.

10. but add that to the rest of his problems
Hubby has acid reflux, high blood pressure, cholesterol, etc and a few other health problems. His meds help him lead a normal life and he is in ten times the health Cheney is.

Cheney won't live another twenty with all his health problems. Four heart attacks, blood flow problems, pacemaker and I'd bet he's got high blood pressure to boot. I'd be surprised if he lived another five years...it is possible, though.

These problems are the ones we know about. What about the ones we don't know.

13. What I am saying is that yes - there are problems and someone
who is say: a nurse & in control of all of their issues - could preddict.

I'm just saying...

9. I think Cheney's health reports could be part of a plan...
Bush is in deep trouble. The latest poll has him at 42 percent.

Iraq is failing and worsening by the second. The Rove scandal is hurting him. His Soc Sec plan is unpopular. The man is sinking.

He needs a shot in the arm. This administration is not going to sit idly by and watch their numbers sink.

They'll pull a rabbit out of a hat, and replacing Cheney with someone flashy (and possibly moderate) are within the realm of possibilities.

All Cheney ever wanted were: His Helliburnin deals and to secure the first phases of the PNAC agenda. He got those things. He's done. He has no interest in running for anything again, and I would not be surprised if he stepped down, in order to help the neocons to remain in power.

The Reps understand very well that 06 and 08 could be a major blow to them. They'll be pulling some stunts fer sure, and a Cheney replacement could be one of those stunts.

16. he's evil incarnate
his crappy karma should make him drop dead! And the best thing is he can't take all his money and stock options with him when he goes. All that money here on earth and he'll be shoveling coal in hell. No wonder that ass has acid reflux.
