Young Republicans Convention on C-SPAN now |
|
There are more empty seats than people in the conference room. LMFAO! This is a very good sign. I figured the place would be packed with gung-ho Republicans looking for recruiters. Guess not.
An aide with the former Coalition Provisional Authority said antiwar people have been proven wrong when they said a humanitarian crisis would occur in Iraq. Guess he hasn't heard about the growing hepatitis crisis caused by dirty drinking water.

They need to visit an Iraqi emergency room to see what this goddamn war does to the innocent.

4. How much of their agenda... |

...is dominated by the Plame Affair? It would be funny if they wasted most of their breath on mirroring their "betters" feeble spin control efforts.

I'll be surprised if he wasn't. I saw him on a similiar thing a few years ago, it was just sickening. :puke:
It was some sort of Young Republicans luncheon. He was a speaker (I think). Not sure as I tuned in to the middle of it. Anyway, he started to take questions from the audience. One stood out for me...
This girl asked how she could go about recruiting more 'minorities' to the young republicans club on her campus. (BTW, I seriously wanted to slap her through the television).
He told her that as 'minorities' started to see the lies that the liberals were telling them, more of 'them' would start to see the light and (I quote) flock to the Republican Party.
I swear to you--I'm laughing as I am typing this. I was just sitting and watching it like it was just so bizarre. Like minorities are a special pet to have or something.

If you had heard some of these kids accomplishments...
"Hi Mr. Stein, I'm the head of our pro-life club...why do the liberals through stones at us?"
"Because they are evil and completely God-less creatures..."
