Hey, is this your work? It's had me laughing my ass off for three years! I actually submitted this particular cartoon in a college paper of mine (professor laughed as well...). The paper was a very serious evaluation of the press coverage fo the Plame affair, and I did it back in Dec 03. I dusted it off tonight to reacquaint myself with some of reporting approaches from various quarters of the media.
The cool thing is that this professor asked us to bring copies of the source material as well, not just make references, so I have a binder full of cut out articles from Time, Wall Street Journal, National Review, The Nation, and so on. I also included jpegs of the forged Niger documents, which even I could spot as inauthentic.
I led with a quote from columnist Nicholas Kristoff of the New York Times:
"Like any good spy story, the outing of Valerie Plame-Wilson is far more complex than it seems on the surface." ("Secrets of a Scandal" 11 Oct 2003)
Boy did Kristoff understate that one....

since early 02, turned on to it by a friend that i would send political outrage to, and she to me.
your project/paper sounds enlightening. I have saved so much to my computer over the years i dread the possible future HD failure. Happened once before and thought i'd lost sooo much info, but managed to save the data to a larger drive.
