A question to all of you my friends - wild clashes all over the world
Is it possible, that this administration triggered this wild clash of religious wars all over the world, because they used Religion in their pattern of reign this country?

They talk so much about religion, that they just woke up the mental situation in the middle east and now we are back to the times 2000 years ago. There was the war between Islam and Christianity.

Bush and his administration brought this country back to ancient times, and with it all the entire world!!

No wonder, the Islam world is reacting about this loud screaming about "America is goods chosen country"!!!!!

What kind of stupid sh.t this is!!!!!

As long as this administration is acting in Irak the way they do, as long we will have suicide bombers all over the world!!!!

Sorry about my simple writing, my mind is working in German and in my language I'm a lot better

1. Your English is a great deal better
than my German. ;)

I don't know that Bush triggered the conflicts; some of this has been going on for a long time.

But he's certainly made it worse by both his words and his deeds.

2. Religion is dangerous
as the Germans should well know...One of the nastiest, bloodiest segments of history came during the 100 Years War, where a good part of Germany became a constant battlefield between the forces of Catholicism and the forces of Protestantism, though the real purposes for the warfare were accumulation of land, wealth, and power, and weren't actually religious at all.

Not that more recent history was any kinder, but I think much of Europe has learned lessons that America has yet to take to heart. It's one of the downsides to us being so separate from the rest of the world and having so few REAL battles on our soil. Had the Indians been slightly better at gathering together to oppose the whites, it might have been a whole different story over here.

3. well said
you are so right...................it's all so complicate but I'm convinced, that this administration triggered a lot more hatred between Islam and (I don't want to call it Christianity) and "us"

I hope and pray, that this nightmare will have a better turn soon!!

This uneducated American President should be very soon replaced by a person who understands other cultures and other ways of minds, ways of living and ways of values.......

4. Yeah,
he's quite a contrast to Bill Clinton, isn't he?

No matter what, the one thing one can say about Clinton was that he knew how to communicate with just about everyone. Bush probably can't even get the voices in his head to agree on anything.

5. Islam is only 1300 years old, not 2000.
Death of Mohammed 632.

I think the religious tensions in the Middle East are incidental to the Power party's plans (Republicans). They are more interested in Big Brother Patriot Act and China watching.

9. "1300 years old"
Yes, but the other two, Chrisitans and Jews were fighting between themselves before Islam joined the fray.

6. I agree with you...
Bush has made the world much more dangerous. I can't stand his attitude about religion and, though I really don't like to judge when it comes to religion, I KNOW Bush knows nothing about Christianity. If he did he would show some ethics and be a peacemaker. He would not send our soldiers to die and be maimed in a war he that lied about to this country to start. What about the innocent Iraqi citizens who have suffered and died? I once saw a picture of a little girl whose hand had been burned black and turned up. Her mother was begging for help. Bush reads the Bible? What about the Sermon on the Mount? Blessed are the peacemakers..., blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice..., etc. And I do believe in my heart that this war is for personal financial gain (oil) for Bush and his friends, including the bin Laden family. Bush is not a Christian. He despises everything Christianity teaches. No wonder we are so hated. I only hope and pray that the rest of the world does not think we all are as evil as Bush is.

7. Only the technology differs...
IMO. Since Islam came into being, there has been a struggle between the "Big Three", Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

Before Islam was invented, the other two were almost always in a war against each other somewhere.

All the wars, Crusades, and clashes have been about land acqusition.
These "Holy Wars" are now being fought via cellphone, internet and with more sophisticated weapons. It's still the same thing that's been happening for 1300 years. Only the technology has changed.

11. Bush has nothing to do with religion
He is an asshole. This conflict is consistent with neither the teachings of Jesus nor the prophecy of Mohammed.
