Why can't gwb* ride a bike?
It's a sense of balance, coordination, and focus. The riders I see that crash regularly like that are often either trying to ride drunk, heavily medicated, or 5 year olds.

8. I hate to jinx myself but, I ride pretty regularly and can't remember...

...the last time I fell. But then, it's been over six years since I had a drop of the sauce, unlike shrub. Riding drunk does tend to land you in the gutter, or in a cop's lap, whatever the case may be.
