it is deplorable that he would be allowed to do such...

But unless the lying bastard is impeached and removed from office, he will be allowed that priviledge that affects us all...

I believe if it is shown that Bush and Cheney are involved and linked to Treasongate and the outing of Valerie Plame in any way, this, along with other information and the Downing Street Memos if investigated will be more than enough grounds to impeach both of them.

Impeach them....that's where we all need to start...

First off we do not have the facts, next off the whole affair is so murky I dont think anybody has the full picture at this point.

Next even if the Pres was involved at the highest level the spin machine he has is the best ever. Hes got all these peopel + a major news network + the house/senate to back him up. I doubt any action short of GW shooting somebody on live tv would cause him any problems :(

7. the nominees will be confirmed before conviction

It would be nice if he couldn't name the judges, but he'll be naming O'Connor's replacement soon. Even if he is shown to be involved in the Plame leak--and named by Fitzgerald--impeachment and conviction would be sometime off. Of course, Bush could be caught molesting little boys the the Republicans still wouldn't move to impeach. This isn't the 1970s. The Republican party is very different today, far more partisan and less concerned for the citizens.
