every time a reporter did a story that was critical of this White house, Karl Rove would call the reporter's boss and demand that they be fired, or reassigned. now that rove has been outted, he can not do that, or each phone call CAN be considered an attempt at Obstruction of Justice.
I don't know if that's true, but it does explain why they're jumping on this story.
