Couple of things no one ever talks about.... |
|
Has no one else noticed the odd nature of these two things? The first is the national "do-not-call" list, which was announced by Bush to much fanfare a month or two before the Iraq war was started. The announcement seemed odd, out of place, even trivial when the next thing he would start talking about was starting a war. It didn't occur to me why they were pushing it until someone on TV mentioned that one of the effects of this would be dramatically increased demand for advertising on TV and the radio and in newspapers. Of course, when demand increases for a product or service, the price goes up. And when the price of advertising goes up, who makes money? Disney, Viacomm, Fox, etc..... We all know how kindly the media treated Bush over this war. The timing of the announcement of the do-not-call list was no coincidence. They were scratching each others' backs. The second odd thing is Bush's mention of sex slavery in his UN speech. What the HELL was that? There HAD to be a reason. Russia's been having very serious economic problems for years. Because of that a lot of their women have been exploited sexually in all kinds of ways: pornography, prostitution, etc. It's become very common there. And here's Bush trying to get support from "allies" in his speech to the UN. Are the sex slavery remarks Bush threatening the Russians? I'm watching Fox right now, and their commentators are saying that Bush needs to be tough on the Russians. They've brought up a number of embarassing things about them and are discussing them. They're basically trash talking (this is how we treat our ALLIES??). I think the Bushees know they NEED Russia's support not only for Iraq, but also in dealing with Iran. And instead of being nice, they're making threats and talking trash. It also makes we wonder about Blair....some people have said that he must have been blackmailed to go along with the war, when he knew his people would be so passionately against it. British politicians have had some sexual issues in the past, too. Anyway, when politicians bring up things like that, that seem to have nothing to do with the issue at hand, I always take a closer look. I think the Bush's are doing some wheeling and dealing. It's just too weird.

IN addition to the things you mentioned, Russia is also:
1) Needed to deal with North Korea 2) meeting with Saudis (who are also rumored to have a tendency to frequent whorehouses) for the first time in decades
Also, Saudi Arabia and OPEC have recently reduced their production quotas, which will help keep oil prices high.

Russia is very well positioned geostrategically as we enter the age of oil depletion. They will be a player with a better hand as time goes by.

7. Bush shamelessly allows the Saudis to practice slavery |
|
I have read that they let the Saudi royals bring their sex slaves and servants into America, and even had some that tried to escape captured and sent back. The Saudi royals and the Bin Ladens have been pampered by Bush and his father GHW Bush forever.
Remember the video of Saddam Hussein's sons, Uday and Queasy or something, with their sex slaves? What the hell kind of videos do you think Hussein and the Saudis have of Bush and Rumsfeld back when they loved Saddam and gave him all that support?
The last time the Moonie Washington Times busted the Bush Republicans for their sex ring, run by Craig Spence and Lawrence King, their old buddy Saddam Hussein started trouble and we had a war. (This story is what the movie "Wag the Dog" was based on.) Another Bush, another war in Iraq with Saddam Hussein, but now the Saudis are attacking us with our own airplanes while Bush reads children's books to children and goes on vacation.
What the hell is going on, that's what I'd like to know?

8. Not to mention the supporting terrorism "thing"... |
|
I'm still waiting for one of the Dems to nail Bush with that. I have a feeling a lot of the conservative Dem veteran senators have ties to the Saudis just like the Bushees, though, and wouldn't call Bush out on it. I don't think Dean has those connections, though. Maybe he's holding that one under his belt. There is SO MUCH ammo against this administration. We just need someone with the balls to use it all.

You're probably right. Need to keep an eye on Putin, after his visit with Dubya, and see if he got bribed or not.

5. We knocked 'em down, now it's time to kick 'em while they're down |
|
Fucking repukes. Their system wasn't great before America of the time "won them over" to capitalism bt their system hasn't exactly duplicated the success the US has had since, proving that capitalism is hardly a cure-all for any governmental system and can only exacerbate other problems if not properly implemented.
As for other deals which the US renegged on during the 1990s (namely helping the Russians in dismantling and protecting the nukes which they can now sell for money I hope), I don't think the Russians are happy with the US. Rightly so. And Bush and his bastard cronies who neglected them (but Clinton ain't no saint either) want to kick them while they're down?
Man, the arrogance of the American Empire has no bounds. We're dirty rotten scoundrels in things only for money and not to help out the civilized world. And that makes America the most degenerate, uncivilized country in the world. Convince me I'm wrong.
