THERE IS NOT ONE republican in Congress that I know that has come forward and said it was a bad thing to out a CIA agent along with the operation she was involved with

Sorry, but when you have a party which demands that kind of loyalty over country, it shows their brutality

My country comes before any political party

They have no decency or sense of right and wrong

3. Agree
The hypocrisy of some "moderate" republicans remaining silent these days is despicable. Especially those who said they voted for the Clinton impeachment because of "The Rule of Law" and not politics.
Where is the Rule of Law now?

4. It's discipline
The party demands discipline....in message and action.

Those who do not adhere, don't go anywhere within the party.

5. There's a vast difference between the parties
Liberals want to see the right thing done, and are willing to tell someone they did something wrong, even if it's a fellow party member. Conservatives want power, nothing less than complete domination will satisfy them. They will protect a rapist, a drunk driver, a cocaine user, someone who has committed treason, a misdiagnosing doctor, an oxycontin freak, a military man who went AWOL during a war, etc. Rules, as they see them, are for OTHER PEOPLE; women, the coloreds, the poor, the liberals, but not for them.

6. the republicans in Congress did not care about the national security issue
they scream about Hillary "criticizing Bush on foreign soil" and about Durbin "emboldening the enemy," but not a peep about destroying an intelligence asset.

8. They're in denial
the only way they can deal with the hypocricy is to deny that Plame was a security/intelligence asset.

That's one of the themes they're spinning their collective asses off over right now....

The rank and file would never support destruction of an intelligence asset, so the ruling elite of the party have to spin it so that they didn't.

It's a sick situation.

19. Remarks don't mean anything... action does
Too many times they say something that sounds good but when it is time to act they fail. It is probably their policy to get it out in print so that they can point to it at a later time for their constitutents.

10. For at least 20 years there has been
no Republican party. I don't know what to call the party in power today but it certainly is not a Republican party. When I used to live in "America" the parties seemed pretty equal. They had many differences but at least they were civil. This most corrupt WH has changed the rules to suit themselves and to hell with everyone else. They are not ashamed to go on TV and lie right in our faces. History is what they make up out of whole cloth. I can easily see insurrection in this country soon if things do not change. We will have a 2nd American Revolution and it will have nothing to do with tea.

11. Most Repukes believe in obeying....
and the rest are too afraid to speak up. At least a handful of Repukes have spoken off the record against Rove, not by name, though. You can bet that when the 2006 elections come along, more people will distance themselves from him when they start to hear from their constituents. But basically, they're a bunch of cowards...

Bringing the RICO/PATRIOT hammer down on them is long overdue and they richly deserve it. I wonder if Fitzgerald is up to that.
