7. He's as much a 'Democrat' as ANYONE who claims to be. |
|
He ran and was elected on the ballot as a 'Democrat'. He received funding from Democratic Party coffers. That's it.
Until the Democratic Party establishes and enforces qualifications for claiming 'membership' then there are no qualifications! That's why I'm an independent. Meaningless partisan labels disgust me! It's difficult enough to establish a common political vocabulary without partisan interests so obsessed with collecting the biggest crowds that they don't give a shit about the values and principles being pushed by powerful internal cliques.

I can stay pro-life, pro-war, and anti-gay rights. :eyes:
Isn't the point of a political party to have standards to follow? The Republican party is so successful with the "mainstream" because they stick to their standards, no matter how low they may be.

4. Important Correction to "Justice Sunday II" Press Release |
|
Edited on Sun Jul-17-05 09:09 PM by johnfunk
Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
In light of recent events involving the disclosure of classified information by employees of the Executive Branch, "Justice Sunday II" will be replaced by Frogmarch Sunday, during which we will offer prayers that the Lord will bestow his blessings upon Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald and provide him the strength, wisdom and courage to make sure that every traitor in the White House is prosecuted, sentenced and punished to the full extent of the law.
Yours in Christ,
Rev. J.J. Balzer

You know it these fraud charlatons and snake handlers that make me question and resent my faith more than any aethiest I have ever met. Alls I know is that my god loves anyone regardless of orientation and stance on reproductive issues. I also think that this world wouldve been a much nicer place if these creeps would stop pushing this mock religion on people and leave everyone alone to do thier own thing.

Right now, Christianity sells. Books, CDs, DVDs, films, shirts, Bible covers, cards, bookmarks, etc that have a Christian theme are selling now and well, at least in KY. As long as there is money in religion, these guys won't go away.

8. I like it when they argue that civil rights for gay people amounts to |
|
"persecution" of Christians.
Like, if they can get married, the Christian woman at the county clerk's office will be PERSECUTED by being FORCED to issue the homer'sexshuls a marriage license!
Actually, it really boils down to this: If gays move into the neighborhood and we're not allowed to kick the crap out of them and drag them behind our pickup truck, we are being persecuted! Oh Nooooooooooooo!
