ATTENTION KUCITIZENS (and others who care about the TRUTH)
I just got this email about Chris Matthews' appearance on the Today show today-- somebody needs to set the record straight on this:

--------------------------------------------------------------
ACTION ALERT

Re: Chris Matthews' statement on NBC's Today show this morning that Dean is the only candidate who opposed the Iraq war:

I just called the NBC viewer line at (212) 664-2333. It is possible leave a recorded message with your comments.

I suggest we send out an email asking our friends to call this number asap and leave a comment. They can say something like:
Chris Matthews' statement on the Today Show today, Friday, Sept. 26 was not true. In fact, Dennis Kucinich is the ONLY candidate who has
unwaveringly and staunchly opposed the war in Iraq. Also, we are tired
of the biased coverage of the debates on NBC and want to see some coverage of the other, lesser-known candidates who were also onstange and who have important things to say. Chris Matthews should correct himself, and should make an effort to be better informed of the facts if he's the one NBC uses as their "morning after" commentator.

==============================================================

Maura Liasson also did a "bang-up" job of completely avoiding Dennis Kucinich in her post-debate report this morning on "liberal" NPR.

The sheer laziness of the American media never ceases to amaze me.

5. LOL!
I just wrote my letter to the idiot himself and ended with the following sentence:

"Furthermore, I felt the way Chris Matthews interviewed Cong. Kucinich on Hardball was disgusting. He owes the Congressman an apology for being so disrespectful!"

6. Great except you forgot totally f*cked for honesty!
That fool put so many words in Kucinich's mouth it wasn't funny. I despise him for that alone. That's a loser's tack, and he wasn't necessarily a "loser" you know? Both sides had good arguments, and he could have gone that way, oh, but no he's too damned lazy to be honest.

I despise that little prick pretender!

7. K has made the big time. DLC has slammed him
Fortunately, none of the first-tier candidates can equal Rep. Dennis Kucinich's bizarre conviction that NAFTA is the worst thing to happen to the U.S. economy in decades, but some are in danger of embracing a Kucinich-lite position that trade is basically bad for America unless we limit it to trading partners with the same wages, labor regulations, and environmental standards that we have.
