1. In America the press has the freedom to praise the bush regime

That would never be allowed in countries like Iran and Syria.

Luckily, Iraq has now been liberated and the Iraqi people who have electricity have the freedom to watch videotape of Potentate Bremer going from his Palace to his Limousine.

2. I don't think we need state run/controlled media..

that would be BAD...Instead, we must work within the current system..work within the "free market" and get some liberal networks out there...Companies don't care about philosophy...They care about CASH...If there is a large left wing base willing to watch and contribute to a national liberal network other than NPR and PBS, we would certainly have had it by now.
