2. What an idiot
Bombing Mecca would consist of bombing innocents. We need to get these radical extremists outof D.C.

3. Let's just take that suggestion seriously for a minute or two
I know it's hard to do, but let's play along with that for a moment (if you can't, then you're excused)

Bombing Mecca would first of all be of no strategic or military value. What military value is in Mecca? None.

Second, it would be impossible to occupy. You think Baghdad is hard to hold. Heh! Non-Muslims are not even allowed into the city, and they are mauled to death if they dare to enter the city.

Third, we would lose all Muslim allies, and I mean all of them. The Saudis (who would go from half-assed ally to outright enemy), Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, Yemen, the UAE, everybody.

Fourth, you'd have World War III, which I don't think we could win the way things are stacked up right now.

OK, back to reality. Tancredo is a fucking nutcase who should be put in prison for saying shit like that!!!!!

6. someone mentioned hate speech and the PATRIOT Act
So he probably could be prosecuted for that, never mind the overall unjustness of the law.

16. Yeah, that's the way to keep America safe, dickhead -- let's piss off
EVERY muslim in the world. Can you imagine the repurcussions of such an action?? There would be a steady supply of suicide bombers for years.

7. Geezus ...

What bothers me the most about idiotic suggestions like this is that they validate the idiots on the general population who think such things would be fine and dandy.

I had some moron wander into my place of business the day of the London bombings. He was watching some of the coverage on television -- I had it on BBC America, which seemed to confuse him actually -- and finally started spouting his "wisdom."

This is almost an exact quote: "You know what we should do? We should drop the A-Bomb on all those people over there and just forget about them. It would solve all our problems."

Oh really. A number of questions and comments came to mind, most of them profane, but I resigned to asking him who "those people" were. His answer was obvious, and I don't care to repeat the racial epithet he used. I asked him to leave, which he did without comment. I'm actually surprised my supervisor hasn't delivered a complaint about the whole thing.

11. Well, "dumb fuck" is sort of high on the list...
... of accomplishments of most Republicans these days. They aspire to that. They seek it like most people want to graduate from high school. One really can't be a Republican and want to run for office unless one is an accomplished dumb fuck. It's part of the job description. :P

9. Well, someone had to replace...
... "B-1 Bob" Dornan and Bob Barr as the premium-grade ranters in the House. :)

He's in a pretty safe district, so if he quits the House to run for president, more power to him. He'll get his head handed to him in Iowa, and that will be that.

12. That seems to be their new strategy
Terrorize "them" before or after someone terrorizes you. Sick buggers don't realize that kicking hornet's nests doesn't work.
I wish they could practice in their own neighborhood and see how far this hatred flies.
:argh:

Will his name and his statement be condemned all over the news media in a week long media blitz? Yeah right, and we all know why.

22. Brilliant, dumb-ass!
I guess this another republican method of "winning the hearts and minds" of people. :eyes:
When Coulter made her stupid statement most rational people could sum it up as a stupid statement made by a stupid powerless airhead.
This moran on the other hand... is a rep.
What a bloody stupid thing to say!! :nuke: :scared:
