Something I Heard On 60 Minutes Last Night
I taped the program, and when I watched it, Steve Croft said inn the first segment that there have been "over 9,000 U.S. casualties in Iraq so far."
I thought I was hearing things, so I rewound the tape. WTF?

2. Counting limbs missing
Head trauma.

Nice, huh? Because the ignorant, greedy, self-serving Repukes had to have their tax cuts, and their "godly leaders" wanted to see their bonuses grow to obscene amounts, our soldiers don't even have the most basic equipment.

Now, 9000+ are dead or maimed, and REPUKES ARE PROUD OF THIS!

Today, I hate every Republican with a new vengeance. Each and every one should hang his or her head in shame, but they don't even have the slightest concept of what shame is.

3. McLaughlin on his show
had 45,000+ wounded, in accidents, suicides and I forget what else. Another odd thing is that the DOD doesn't count as KIA ( killed in action) those who later die of wounds received in combat. They have more creative ways of undercounting then an ENRON accountant.

4. That segment was a re-run. I don't know if they've updated those numbers.

10. This question comes up again and again.
Those who pass on after they are removed from the theater but before they are released back into the general population are, indeed, counted. However, if they later die from their injuries, whether physical or mental, they are not included in the totals.
