The Bush Crime Family's whirlpool of lies regarding the official "outing" of Valerie Plame is slowly expanding to include nearly all Bush's top level thugs. Powell, Rice, Libby, Cheney, Fleisher, Rove and their shills in media - Miller at the New York Times, Cooper at Time Magazine, and the evil Novak at CNN/Chicago Sun Times, to name but a few (the list of media enablers is seemingly endless) - all appear to be following the Nixonian tactic of denial, further smears against those who would expose such wickedness, and a refusal to acknowledge legitimate questions surrounding the criminal activity in which they all were complicit.

The lessons of the Nixon era, however, are clear: The "stonewalling," the "limited hangout," the dodging and weaving necessary to avoid facing the oncoming consequences of actions clearly illegal and unethical can last only as long as the architects of such sleaze can prop up the foundation of their corrupt behavior. As with all criminal enterprises of this magnitude, the entire structure collapses eventually into a swirling vortex of indictments, hearings, convictions, resignations and shame.

And, of course, the official pardons rewarded for a job well done. Maybe even more Presidential Freedom Medals.

The hope felt by rational Americans is that this collapse will come soon. Mike is live tonight and will discuss further the corruption the Bush Crime Family has come to define.
