Does anyone convicted of a crime work in Idiot Son's administration now?
I seem to recall there were a couple of hires that had been convicted before, even though Idiot Son now says if someone committed a crime they will "no longer be working in my administration"

1. Poindexter did
Eliot Abrams still does, AFAIK.

Both were convicted during Iran/Contra, then pardoned during Bush Sr's administration.

4. John Poindexter was convicted of obstruction of justice,
lying to Congress, etc. Of course- he was hired *because* of those qualities- not in spite of them.

His convictions were overturned a year later, and Poindexter left the Administration a few years ago anyway, IIRC. But yes- this crowd continually recruits from the same group of "Made Men", so to speak. They've proven their willingness to break the law and ignore ethics when it suits their employers. That's why they're employed.

12. Only one DUI, but twice for disorderly conduct
Once for stealing a Christmas wreath from a hotel, and once for trying to break off a piece of a goalpost at the Princeton football field.

There are stories about him being arrested for cocaine use, but let off with community service.

He was investigated, but not punished for insider trading of Harken Oil stock.

After he became governor of Texas, he was given a new driver's license and the old records were destroyed.

George W. Bush is the first man to be elected president after having been convicted of a crime.
