CNN's Dana Bash Dissed Sen. Kennedy
Edited on Mon Jul-18-05 06:01 PM by joanski0
In my opinion, I thought Dana Bash insulted Senator Kennedy. Senator Kennedy is highly respected by me and many of us. I was highly incensed to hear her say this to him. She was asking about his wanting to close down Gitmo. She said, what would you do with the prisoners there? Is there a place for them at Hyannis Port? (I wanted to smack her disrespectful face.)

Senator Kennedy didn't even blink. He said that those prisoners could go to Levenworth and that has been what was suggested.

I am really PO'd at Dana Bash.

The Crawford ranch would be a good first start.

3. Bash: "are you offering up hyannisport?" Ted should've
at least pointed out her dis AND her complete miss of the real issue at hand....it was NOTHING BUT a swipe at Kennedy, she HAD to have had that planned all day & waited for her moment to spit it at him ...

6. I agree. And that was such a
pissant thing to say. Just goes to show you that they aren't "journalists". That sounds like something Ken Melhman would say. Or Rummy. Or Santorum. Or John Warner. Or .....

9. I wondered about this. She seemed to be insulting where it didn't
matter. The substance she allowed him to talk about was germane. Maybe the journalists are getting wise. They superficially insult Dems..while they interview them on important issues.
