Oh no, Pickles is tearing up
the White House curtains again.

This time she's gone after the ones in the Oval Office.

I just wish they could gets her meds adjusted so she would stop doing that.

2. Thank goodness; I thought you meant the waterworks.
I'm surprised KKKarl hasn't trotted her out with them yet.

3. I thought you meant she was crying
I'm glad she's just wearing the drapes. Very Sound of Music, don't you think?

will always remind me of Scarlet O'Hare but without a brain.

25. That is a good one too
But I had forgotten about it. I was thinking about the Sound of Music. The Julie Andrews character made play clothes for the children out of old drapes.

5. I also thought you were refering to crying..but this is sooo funny.
Remember Carol Burnett's "Gone With The Wind" skit? As Scarlet, she leaves the curtain rods in the curtains when she uses them to make the dress...

if you can call that thing she's married to a real man. I think when she killed her ex-boyfriend she lost all sense of judgment in the accident. She's never been the same since.

27. Y'know, she can afford a desperately needed stylist.
She's not an unattractive woman. If she's that clueless about what to wear, she can hire someone to dress her.

She needs to watch "What Not to Wear."

10. The only thing I'm envious of that she has is a beautiful figure.
What a waste on such a dumbass...she's got to be one, otherwise she would never have married Bush.

I kinda would like to have some of her money, too.

to mine is beautiful.

23. I'm smaller (I think) and I don't have a problem with her figure.
I think people make too big of a deal about women's bodies. She isn't 19. She's a mature woman. I thought Nancy Reagan looked ill, she was so thin.

I always show Mrs Demonfighter the fashion news here
She cracked up. I decided it looked like old horsehair or like when a dog gets big snarls in their hair. It kind of hangs in clumps. That is what the fabric looks like.

21. Is this what she wears
while she's Stopping Gang Violence?
Really. Bush made a big deal of how he "didn't know anyone more qualified" (well, I believe that, actually) to chair the campaign to stop gang violence.
Then. Nothing. Nothing.
Or, is that what she's doing here?
Stopping gang violence.
At least with Nancy, we knew she wasn't going to really do any of the goody two-shoes projects her handlers dreamed up for photo ops.
But Laura always has that Sunday school teacher earnestness. And then. Nothing. She disappears on a "camping" trip. Or visits a well guarded daughter.
Man. I miss Rosalyn. She's the graceful lady Laura keeps imitating. But Rosalyn is as smart as Hillary and tireless. She traveled the world and spoke eloquently to thousands as First Lady. She's continued her humanitarian efforts with Jimmy.
What a lady.

Really, I'm not sure what I'm looking at. It looks like a chiffon flower print. Is there a link to a bigger pic?

26. That article...
...reminds me of an old episode of West Wing where the White House is hosting a state dinner for the president of Indonesia, and CJ (the press secretary) has all these important events to deal with (an FBI standoff, a truckers' strike, and a hurricane), but she's getting bombarded with questions from reporters wanting details on the dresses, shoes, and accessories that the First Lady's going to wear to the dinner.

CJ: Man alive, do I love it when In Style magazine is issued press credentials.
JOSH: Yeah.
CJ: Mirabella needed to know what wine was being served with the fish course - so it's a good thing I went to school for 22 years.
JOSH: What wine are we---
CJ: It's wine, you'll drink it.
