It used to be that whenever I would tell a wingnut ... |

...that I was against the war that they would reply "would you rather Saddam was still in charge?" Or some other variation bordering on an accusation that I was a Saddam supporter. Anyway I don't remember all of the deaths by suicide bomber under Saddam or any talk of an Iraqi civil war.
My question then, is: How many deaths will it take before it costs more in human lives to remove Saddam than Saddam would have been responsible for had he remained in power?

1. Well, they're already short on coffins. Won't take many more. |

2. Well, more are ALREADY dead since this started than Saddam ever killed |

Even more conservative estimates are now placing the Iraqi body count in excess of 100,000.

3. You're 'getting' this. It's an ill-advised war with no end in sight. |

And the US may have already surpassed the damage Saddam Hussein did, combining US and Iraqi casualties. It's beyond unreal, unnatural, and it shouldn't have happened.
