Tweety (Disciplined/Reprimanded?) for Interrupting
FauxWatch (the Faux equivalent of CNN's Reliable Sources) host Eric BURNS said this A.M. on Faux that Tweety has been given some kind of guidelines about his interrupting. BURNS said that taking away Tweety's interrupting is taking away his trademark. He also said that Puffball is the highest rated show for MSRNC, which we here are constantly citing sources otherwise.

I've heard Tweety back down and be meek for Don ANUS, VERY strangely shutting up and taking verbal abuse. The other night it was the same with VENTURA after the CA "debate", with VENTURA refusing to take direction and Tweety rolling over.

Tonight there is just a tad of a hint that the BURNS tidbit might have something to it. The rapid fire is toned down and the guests are finishing their sentences. 'course this is no cure in itself for his whoring ways.

No link. Looked on Faux and MSRNC sites and Googled "Burns Matthews".

1. I doubt it. Tweety's on-air behavior isn't consistent.
He has backed bush shamelessly, then has occasionally opposed him (Iraq). He seems like a real gadfly to me.

2. Oh, He's Been Consistent, All Right
Consistently wingnut, starting with his flunky admiration of political SUCCESS, from back when RAYGUN kicked Tweety's bosses' rears. But the item was about his interrupting, not his slant. I disagree with the "gadfly" part: Yes, he thinks he's "smart" about "being able to PLAY Right and PLAY Left, driving the opposite side NUTS." His being ABLE to PLAY each way doesn't equate with his actually DOING it to both sides EQUALLY. And the cable quest for ratings skews towards the older, more affluent, wingnut cable audience. There is NO WAY that the damage he has done to Dems over the past 5 years adds up to EQUAL gadflying--------with the possible mitigating factor of his TINY audience, which is still probably more DEMS LIKE US than his precious wingnuts.

4. Whoa! Tweety Just Said, "I'm Not Much of a Dem These Days"
Dick ARMEY had said something about what a Dem he was and Tweety yukked and said (subject line).

5. Armey is a slimey son of a bitch ...
and he sounded drunk as ol 'Cooter Brown as we say in my neck of the woods. Armey did everything and said everything he could put his lying tongue to in order to marginalize ClarK.

Methinks they doth protest too much.
