Who's Shrub Gonna Choose? |
|
Edited on Mon Jul-18-05 11:46 PM by ruggerson
I'm going with Edith Brown Clements.
She doesn't have a paper trail, she's the right gender and she will be a stealth zealot, a far right religious activist. Easy to get confirmed because of the lack of paper trail, but devastating to all of our rights when she gets on the bench.
Other ideas?
Whom do you think he will choose to destroy our society?

2. I thought they liked the other one |

Edith Jones.
Who would be easier to beat, because she has a lot of totally out there written observations about the court and society in general. I'm hoping he picks her, because she'd be fairly easy to mobilize against. My fear is he'll pick the other Edith who is much more confirmable.

3. What you just said in your first post |

The freepers think she's conservative but lacks a paper trail, hence she'll be easily confirmed. And they're probably right.
