So how many of you think he is desperately looking for some sort of distraction from Rovegate? After yesterday's flamefest over his changing the criteria in which he would fire someone......

I've heard several like John King saying, "lets face it, this presideents numbers have been declining, his SS plan is treading water at best, and the Rove scandal has been consuming a lot of air time. The nomination of a SC nominee could take some of the heat off." That's wasn't a direct quote, but it's very close.

WE'll have to see who he nominates, but I suspect it will be an extremist - I don't see how he can afford to do anything else.
