Extraordinary Democracy Now program today. It will be repeated at 6PM. Amy Goodman interviewed Seymour Hersh about his new article in the New Yorker. According to Hersh, Bush poured money into the Iraqi elections to manipulate the outcome. So much for "democracy" and fair elections. The Bush people say Bush aborted this plan to put in money when Congress said no. But according to Hersh, they just went off the record and poured the money in illegally after Congress had nixed it. It is an amazing show if you can listen to it.

If this story gets big, and since it is coming from Seymour Hersh, it may be the next phase of the unfolding Bush scandals, it could be a segway into the 2004 election fraud.

The whole function of this BushCo/neoCON pResidency has been to defraud and exploit others,...including their own people. They find their behavior completely acceptable. Now, I wonder how they would feel if we defrauded and exploited them? Would the "no rules" deception scheme be okay in that circumstance?
