What are you doing differently? Threat level is Orange and Yellow
Security level is

"General threat level"

and

"For the mass transit portion of the transportation sector which includes only regional and inter-city passenger rail, subways and metropolitan bus systems"

From Homeland Security, recommended actions:

"# High Condition (Orange). A High Condition is declared when there is a high risk of terrorist attacks. In addition to the Protective Measures taken in the previous Threat Conditions, Federal departments and agencies should consider the following general measures in addition to the agency-specific Protective Measures that they will develop and implement:

1. Coordinating necessary security efforts with Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies or any National Guard or other appropriate armed forces organizations;
2. Taking additional precautions at public events and possibly considering alternative venues or even cancellation;
3. Preparing to execute contingency procedures, such as moving to an alternate site or dispersing their workforce; and
4. Restricting threatened facility access to essential personnel only. "

1. I, for one, am not polishing my dune buggy today!
Edited on Tue Jul-19-05 09:51 AM by joemurphy
I've decided against traveling to Terre Haute
I placed another crate of tuna fish under my bed.
I put another roll of duct tape in my glovebox
I told my stockbroker to sell
I rechecked my gas mask

and then I noticed that Bush's poll numbers were tanking.

I revised my plans and decided to carry on as usual.

3. Absolutely nothing...
and I rode the Metro here in L.A. on Saturday...of course, that isn't a peak traffic day, but I'm never living in fear.

7. Exactamente, SmokingJacket...
it's just what Marilyn Manson said in Bowling for Columbine...

"Fear and consumption, fear and consumption"

Except more and more people will be consuming less and less as more jobs are cut or outsourced

14. Yes! It's a great song, too.
CHORUS:
Well you know that it's going to be alright
I think it's gonna be alright
Everything will always be alright
When we go shopping

Well you know that it's going to be alright
When we go shopping
It's always lalalalala...
Shopping spree begin
It's always lalalalala...
Everybody wins

So shutup
And never stop
Let's shop
Until we drop

CHORUS

It's always lalalalala...
Shopping never end
It's always lalalalala...
Shopping with our friends
Shopping once again

It's always lalalalala... (x4)

It's never enough
Until you've got all the stuff
When the going gets rough
Just shop with somebody tough

CHORUS (x2)

It's always...
When we go shopping (x3)

10. Made Orange juice to drink in my Yellow car on the way to work.
I'm reporting suspicious neighborly activity too. I would like to move to an alternate site, perhaps France, for the summer.

I've been hiding under my bed, since the terror levels were elevated.

Could someone throw me a bagel or something? And also...a can of Pledge. It's a mess under here!
