Dear Ms. Thomas,
In an era when most of the press has been rendered impotent by one of the most secretive and vindictive administrations in our history, I can only thank God that you remain; unafraid to ask the tough questions, and refusing to be cowed by the bullies who currently occupy our White House. I am old enough to remember your tenacity during the Johnson (Lyndon, not Andrew) administration, and my respect for you has only grown since then.

She took time out of her busy day to thank me for my kind thoughts. The fact that this 85 year old woman is shouldering the burden for all of us leaves me in awe. She needs to know how much she is loved and respected. You can reach her at: [e-mail]
