Just witnessed a huge "Flash Mob"

... I'm in my room on the 37th floor of the Marquis Marriott overlooking Times Square and I hear a growing roar outside.

... Looking out my window, an entire wall, I see literally hundreds of people running onto Broadway from all directions below. All adjacent streets are now log jammed. I didn't know what was going on. As the crowd reached "critical mass", they start doing something looking like a sports arena wave and chanting (yelling) something indiscernible but organized.

... NYC LE converges on the crowd, but there's not much they can do.

... As fast as it materialized they all dissipate.
