My apprehension in supporting Clark up intil this point was that it would be so difficult to compete without the resources that all the other serious candidates have built up over time.

But Clinton did just get in in Oct, and after watching Clark's townhall, I reallize just how amazingly great a candidate he is. I also see how aggressively the RW propaganda machine is trying to counter him. I now think him winning the nom could be a possibility.

So anybody know what Clinton had to overcome in '91-'92? I know the others started alot earlier this time around, so it will probably be not a perfect month to month parallel.

I'm still going to fulfill my duties to Edwards. But I also look forward to meeting Clark and his local organization.

2. I have some things to do, or I'd give you a more
in-depth answer. Basically, the Clinton campaign isn't a good marker in terms of fundraising, because Clinton already had a sizeable warchest put together by the time he declared. Clinton was a master of that particular game; iirc, he actually had already raised the most money of the candidates by the time he announced, and I know he spent the most during the primary.

Clark has laid the groundwork by connecting with the right people. I think they are watching to see how he performs before funding him; so far, I'd imagine they are pleased by what they see.
