Try Rove for treason, and end cover-up
Karl Rove compromised our national security when he leaked CIA agent Valerie Plame's name to members of the press. That this agent was working on intelligence matters related to the war on terror did not stop him.
He wanted only revenge on her husband, Ambassador Joe Wilson, for refuting the Bush administration's position that Iraq was seeking uranium from Niger. Pure and simple, he violated his position of trust to the American people by placing politics ahead of national security, and should be tried for treason.
Recent days find the media beginning to seriously interrogate Bush White House officials, but they aren't talking. The silence not only is deafening, but leaves one to deduce there must be a Bush team cover-up conspiracy in action.

I will not live in fear of asshat reprisals (although I did file some recent police reports over an asshat that was sending me repeated threats).

I am not saying Pura Vida specifically thought about it (nor am I trying to flame you guys). Just that some of do not live in fear of our name being connected to our work.

To all of you that think the questions surrounding
Karl Rove's link to the identification of undercover
CIA agent Valerie Plame is all political, think again.


America is a nation at WAR - remember 9-11???
Remember the threat of WMDs???
Valerie Plame was in Africa as an undercover agent
monitoring the amount of yellow-cake uranium leaving
that country. She was protecting us from the
possibility of WMDs being used against Americans.

So what does Karl Rove do? He discloses her identity.
During a time of war. While she was protecting the
homeland. While she was protecting us from terrorism.

When a CIA agent is doing an undercover mission to
protect us, their identity must be protected.
Especially when it involves our safety.
Especially when it involves monitoring a substance
that could be used in WMDs. And anybody that stands
in the way of the safety of Americans, needs to be
held accountable. Even if it is the president's chief
political advisor.

Do not stand in the way of the security of my family
and friends, and my country, by playing politics with
this issue.
