The Case for Kerry, Dean, and Clark is a very strong one. Only time will
tell us who prevails. I am convinced any one of these top three candidates, and any of the others for that matter, would kick Shrubs ass come Nov 04.

But these three have the best odds at the moment. and the Pubs are very concerned as well they might be. Because the Shrub cannot even begin to compare, the Pubs resort to distraction, distortion, and delusion. Thats the only ammo in their bags.

They snipe, they lie, they cheat, anything to remain rich and fuck you middle America.

3. :o) Well, let us hope one of them removes the Cancer in the Oval Office.
Conservatism has brought geat shame and loss of respect to America by backing the loser Bush.

Showing all the classic signs of being addled by drugs he plods on from blunder to blunder. His handlers are to blame too.

Woe onto us until Bush is removed from office.

11. Bush debate these three? No way. He too scared and would opt out
with a silly excuse.

If he had any brains, drug damaged or not, he would wear his flight suit to the debates should he dare to attend one.

2. Agree, but it's interesting that you would put the least popular in front!
Of course, I'd never suspect that you were trying to give a has been some credence. May the best man win!

5. And what I fear is that many Dem activists are starting to do the same.
I hope they stop soon, because to do otherwise will buy directly into the plans of B*shCo.

The Pubs looking bad as they should be.

Conservatism taking major hits and looking like shit.

Shrub and Co being revealed as connivers and plotters who twist the laws to their benefit.

Results of this Iraqi adventure reveals a sad ignorance of foreign affairs and geo politics.

The Pubs gonna lose the Senate, House and Oval Office. And they know it.

Come, we go hunt pig, bring your knife

7. if we manage to have a fair election
* cannot remain in office. But removing him is not enough to restore our country. The damage he has done is far-reaching, and it will take generations to undo it. I'm not sure the people are up to such a task.

My politics are closer to Kucinich's, but I'm going with Dean because I think he has a better chance. America is not as liberal as some on DU would like to believe; we consistently vote Republican at almost every level of elected office. The rapid taking up of the "traitor" mantra immediately following Sept 11, along with the profusion of SUVs and the trashing of the environment on an individual level, plus the general rampant consumerism, give us an indication of the true mindset of the people. It's easy to give in to the "Me First" mentality, and that's what the Republicans play on so well. Contrarily, it's difficult to act on behalf of others, which is what Liberalism requires us to do. That's why Democrats are so easily maligned.

What I'm trying to say is that getting rid of * is just the first step on a very long, difficult and hazardous journey.

10. The long road begins with the first step. If we luv our children as we say
we do, we have little choice but to take it.

Let the First Step be a big one. Lets all work hard for the revolution to begin. Lets get the Senate and the House back too.

Come, we order pizza and beer.

12. Absolutely.
I had no intention of implying that we shouldn't walk the road. In fact, we have no choice but to do just that.

8. We are gonna need a bigger tent
While Kerry appeals to more traditional Dems, Dean is bringing in folks that have been disillusioned with politics and Clark will shake up the pugs hold on Reagan Dems disillusioned with Bush.

If we can put this all together...the land will slide in '04. WH, Senate and HR are all within reach.

Which would be nice.

9. The tent is up, the lites are on, ribs on the Barbie, Beer on ice.
People are coming in, eyes opened from Visine and stronger coffee. TRhe Pubs have pushed Conservatism over the edge with Bush.
He is more of a loser than first thought, but the Pubs are stuck in first gear with him.

The only thing the Pubs can do is to denigrate the Dems thru distortion, deciet. They are unable to point towards any real successes resulting from their actions. The Pubs have been exposed as selfish, arrogant, and mean spirited. They cheat too whenever than can get away with it.

14. you don't know politics if you think anyone's gonna kick his ass
even if were realtively lucky, it'll still be a close win for us.

right now, a dem nominee has a garenteed 38-42 percent, and Bush has a garenteed 39-43 percent or maybe a little more

15. Your percentages are probably accurate
I just think things are lining up for the 20% swing vote to swing our way.

In '92, Poppy only pulled 37.7%. So it can happen.

It won't take luck. Just the right platform and messenger. Call me naive if you like, but I like what I see so far.

due to the many failures/blunders.

A small swing can produce a landslide.

18. I think it will narrow down to 4 candidates...
Dean, Clark, Kerry and Gephardt. Lieberman and Edwards seem to be losing ground but maybe they'll surprise us. My money is on the first two, but I'm going to support whomever gets nominated. Dean is considered the dark horse of the candidates because he's the outsider and not the DLC's favorite because they have the mistaken impression that Dean can't beat Bush.

The people will decide, however, who the candidate will be and we had all better prepare to support the nominee 100% or Bush gets 4 more years.

19. You gotta like these guys.
I think "K, D or C" the strongest candidates. Especially after the debate last night. Gep is losing ground and the attacks on Dean are not paying off. Same with Lieberman, except now he's attacking Clark. Lieb doubly dimished. Holy Joe is just too pompous, sez my wife.

Actually just about choked on Lieberman's joke. "plucking chickens" pretty unexpected from him LOL! His best line this season.

I like Edwards. Maybe he'll gain some traction. Kucinich is great, Sharpton and CMB are great. My wife and I are big fans of Carol, would like to see her win the nomination in 8 years (after two Dean terms :) These folks are the "farm team" IMHO. I'm glad they're out there, because you need to build teh next generation of more liberal candidates.

Graham has a lot to say, needs to be Veep or go back to the Senate. Really, we can't afford to lose any Senators.

Though a Dean supporter, I really like Kerry's technology and energy investment ideas, and Clark looks pretty good. Every time I see him I'm pleasantly surprised, I think he might be a stealth liberal.

20. I see it differently
I'm not convinced Clark will be a force just yet, as it stands I would say the race is between Kerry/Dean on one side, and Gephardt/Lieberman/Edwards on the other. Of these matchups, I think Kerry will end up beating Dean, and then Gephardt will win on the other side, barring a surprise from Edwards (which could happen).
