How many times have we heard this? Just think of how absurd this question? The Repubs screw up the best economy we ever had in this country and now they ask, "well, what is your solution?" They invade Iraq and get us in a major mess, with troops dying every day and with the loss of respect around the nations of the world, and they say, "well , all the Democrats do is criticize, but what is their solution?" They could crap all over your yard and they would ask, "well, what is your solution to cleaning it up?"

But it is the responsibility of those that make the mess to clean it up. It is not the responsibility of everyone else to march behind the elephants with a shovel...

5. On the other hand

If the people who createed the mess don't clean it up, then the people who walk behind can either shovel shit, or walkin it. Besides, having positive ideas will attract more voters than just saying "he did it". I, for one, would really like to see brilliant atlernative ideas that sweep the American consciousness coming from our Democratic leaders.

6. It's just Republican talking points.

Dems have solutions that actually work.

Dems want the United States to pay its bills. Bushbots want huge deficits.

Dems believe in Social Security and Medicare. Bushbots want to privatize these successful Dem solutions out of existence.

Dems believe in treaties and getting along with the rest of the world. Bushbots want to break hard-won treaties on a whim and turn the world against the United States.

Dems believe in defending the country against terrorism using international law, intelligence, and force as a last resort. Bushbots believe in undermining international law when it is needed most. Bushbots spin intelligence to suit their political program. And Iraq shows that Bushbots can't be trusted with our military forces. They are wasting those forces along with huge gouts of tax money in Iraq, a country that was not a threat to the United States.
