The perfect ticket for 2004! |
|
Since Clark flip flops around more than a sucker fish plopped on a hot sidewalk in summer I suggest that we nominate the following ticket:
Clark for president and Clark for vice-president!
The Clark for president can campaign against the Iraq war, against past policies of the Republicans, and against the disasterous policies internationally of Bush/Cheney. He can campaign in states like California and the East Coast.
The Clark for vice-president can campaign in the mid-west and south as well as crucial swing states like Pennsylvania and Ohio and point out that the war in Iraq was a positive action and that the policies of Reagan, Bush and Bush have lead to a stronger military and a stronger foundation for our nation's economic and military security. He can point out that he differs on some issues from the Clark that is running for president but that it is healthy for the ticket to have a true ideological balance. He can also point out that he is in constant open dialogue with the Clark that is running for president and that both remian open-minded on a variety of issues.
Multiple personality, perhaps, but maybe... Then again, what's wrong with Leiberman? I wonder if Joseph Leiberman voted for Ronald Reagan?

2. This is getting silly... |
|
...I've got my reservations against the guy, but how is it that we have this sudden influx of new members with a bone against him? I myself would like to be able to construct a complete picture of each of the candidates, and make judgements accordingly.
I can't figure out who leaves a worse taste in my mouth, those jumping on the Clark bandwagon proclaiming him the new and only messiah or those repeatedly striking the same tunes over and over again in a desperate bid to bash <insert candidate here, including Clark>...

5. We also have an influx of new people in favor of him. |
|
I have noticed that those passionately opposed and passionately in favor seem to be made up of people with fewer then 100 posts.

6. Actually I think the influx is more of the 'in favor' people |
|
I notice that the the majority of the rabid Clark supporters, the ones that slam anyone who questions, are posters who have joined in the last few weeks. While I consistenly note the posters who provide the most in-depth information and case to question Clark are posters that I have seen around here for the last year at least.
