MSNBC Plame’s identity marked as secret

A classified State Department memorandum central to a federal leak investigation contained information about CIA officer Valerie Plame in a paragraph marked "(S)" for secret, a clear indication that any Bush administration official who read it should have been aware the information was classified, according to current and former government officials.

3. And Fineman just said on Countdown
how teh CIA Leak has exhausted itself for now. That's how prophetic Howard is. To Keith's credit, he didn't buy it. Either he or Gregory actually interviewed Jim VandeHei, but he did not reveal that he was doing this story.

9. They were just a bit too transparent with timing
and the media does not want to be seen as fools or suckers when the whole nation can guess why Roberts' nomination was rushed. Bad choice though. He would have gotten greater mileage and distraction if he had nominated Gonzales...

10. Olbermann
this is what Olbermann has to say about the Supreme Court nomination on his blog:

Welcome aboard, Mr. Roberts (Keith Olbermann)

NEW YORK — Who knows if President Bush really did rush his nomination of Judge John G. Roberts to the Supreme Court in order to knock the Karl Rove story off the front page. But if he did — he did a poor job of it.

Unfortunately for the conspiracy theory and/or the conspiracy, the first 18 hours of Democratic reaction to the Roberts candidacy seems to be almost benign.

No hair-on-fire, “Save America!” response means no controversy.

No controversy means no headlines.

No headlines means — we rejoin the Karl Rove story already in progress.
