When I hear pro-life - I think of a Big Mac |
|
It is such a contrived, loaded, and marketed word that it means nothing.
It is made to intice, sway, and fill you with crap!

1. pro-life is really anti-choice |
|
if they were concerned with life they would care more about the living than the unborn

2. it's a great poker tell for the news |
|
when you hear an anchor say
"anti-abortion foes lined up to protest . . . ." versus
"pro-life supporters lined up to protest . . ."
I've unfortunately heard both, even on NPR.

3. just like how the word 'conservative' |
|
is meant to entice you into thinking being resistant to change means racism, bigotry, hatred, and ignorance are simply innocent form of old-fashioned-ness.

4. I think hypocracy when I hear or read pro-life |
|
Read it today passing a car with a pro-life sticker and a Bush sticker. Pro-life - Iraq, Afghanistan, Guantanamo, 17% of all American Children now living in poverty? Pro-life - what does that really mean.... it's just a shield and a bush to hide under instead of dealing with problems that require real answers and real diplomacy and real collaboration.
Think of it Pro-lifers the answers for them lay solely with women and only a portion of them at that.

5. Whenever I hear "pro-life", I automatically think "pro-birth" |
|
because after all, they couldn't give two shits about the kid when it's finally born. They only want to be able to control what a woman does with her own body.
Bastards.

7. And the truth shall set you free... |
|
to me that's the biggest reason why they are hypocrites. Once the baby is born, there's a real good chance it's born into poverty, or worse. And they won't lift a finger to help, except maybe to have a bible study in the inner city.

8. it's pop culture made up jargon |

I am very religious I belive that jesus very much existed. And am very for reproductive choice stem cell research and gay marriage. Simply put I have no power to interfere in the lives of another "human living breathing person".
Now let me ask you all two questions. One your in a trapped room thats on fire and you can save either a slide with stem cells on it or a baby. what would you save and why ? I would save the baby any time.
Two were all made up of carbon atoms can anti abortion people no longer use charcoal or carbon paper?
Anti abortion is just mega guilt trip invited by the republican party to play on the emotions of others. Once you reason thru it it has no fear on you. Its kinda like your batman and the rtl movement is scare crow.
