Is it just me or does the media sound disappointed the bombs didn't go off
in London? Or rather they didn't cause mass damage.

I can hear palpable sadness in their voices. Shouldn't it be mass relief?

1. They're disappointed, alright........
They were equally disappointed when the "Runaway Bride" turned up alive. They had been ready to serve up that crazy woman's crazy fiance as the prime suspect!

twisting language around to make it sound worse than it is.

You can sense the anxiousness; they are hoping it will be worse than it appears to be.

Can we please get just one hour of nightly national news back? They managed to make the entire nation understand Watergate in 10 minute segments and the country was better off.

edit: spelling

3. Funny; I had the same sick thought...but it was related to cover-up
of Rovegate and the Washington Post article...

Strange that Bush and Oval Streets were involved...

5. You should have heard Wortheimer on NPR -- disgusting
Edited on Thu Jul-21-05 09:48 AM by PSPS
She was interviewing an AP reporter in London and kept trying to get her to paint a scene of panic and destruction. She couldn't, but she tried over and over again with loaded and leading questions. The ten-minute segment ended abruptly with Wortheimer unsuccessful at propagandizing.

Given today's Washington Post front page, I think this was the work of "DISRUPTOR." Or, at least, the whore presstitutes are acting as agents of DISRUPTOR by trying to blow this out of proportion to make it suck up time, leaving none for other news.

6. Now that FOX is sure they aren't going to get their gory story...
They cut off Blair's conference to return to Judge Hatchett.
