Every Scandal Needs a Good Name: Yellowcake
Short, sweet, and gets right to the point. Kind of like "Teapot Dome" or "Watergate." So how about simply:

Yellowcake

That work for everybody?

And wasn't it interesting the story broke on a Friday? Usually that's a bad day to do it, but, in this case, that's precisely the day you want to launch a major scandal. When things are quiet. I'll also note that NBC got the story, so this Sunday morning's gabfest -- which just so happens to be the top rated one -- will cover it.

1. Didn't this "scandal" die a lonely death in July?
When Clinton went on Larry King to defend Bush?

WASHINGTON, Sept. 26 — The CIA has asked the Justice Department to investigate allegations that the White House broke federal laws by revealing the identity of one of its undercover employees in retaliation against the woman’s husband, a former ambassador who publicly criticized President Bush’s since-discredited claim that Iraq had sought weapons-grade uranium from Africa, NBC News has learned.

9. Time Magazine Just Picked It Up
Talking Points Memo, Joshua Marshall's blog, referred to Time's piece. Time is now reporting that the Department of Justice has opened a preliminary inquiry to determine whether a full investigation is warranted.

"Department of Duh" says "Yeah."

2. I assume you are talking about Joe Wilson's wife
if so, then if the media chooses this could be huge. I think Novak should be a patriot and release his sources and save the FBI some time and money.

6. Amen!
I must admit that "Yellowgate" has a certain ring to it, but I like "Yellowcake" better, because there is no "gate" at the end.
