Do the R&R math

there are around 130,000 troops in the Iraqi theater. They have been there over six months and are schedule to stay for a year (IMHO or more).

To give the two week R&R they claim they want to give the troops, IMHO they would have to rotate all 130,000 in the next two months.

That would have 16,250 (130,000 / 8)coming into the US every week. OR ~ 2,400 per day. That is around 6 747-400 per day into Baltimore (other cities to be added later).

IMHO that will NEVER happen. Most of the troops will never see that R&R in their FIRST year in Iraq/Kuwait.

Note: Baltimore is a big hub for Southwest. I would not be surprised if SW did not do a special or free flight thing with the troops. VERY good PR.
