So the media is finally doing its job (re: Rove). Should it matter why? |
|
Don't get me wrong, they are still a LONG way away from respectability. But at least the PRINT media has done a really good job of keeping up with Rovegate, and they didn't allow the White House to manipulate them with the Roberts' diversion.
But I do wonder -- is there a chance in hell that they would have been this aggressive if not for the fact one of their own is sitting in jail, or that Rove was clearly to use them as shields to cover up his crimes? Should it even matter?

1. Yes, it matters a great deal! |

This has been bothering me since it started. For five years, the Media Borg has been in a self-induced coma/honeymoon over bu$hler. It let the draft-dodging/desertion go right by, it uttered nary a peep when the WLF* was lying us into war, it couldn't be BOTHERED about the Downing Street Minutes it never questioned his tax cuts, his economic "policies," etcetcetc ad nausem, BUT
It's suddenly VERY interested in the Rove Leak?
Perhaps the Media in the US is controlled by the CIA. They just HATE it when somebody fucks with them, no?
