I swear Blair was smirking the other day talking to the world about

the first bombing.

with TV muted I saw him looking pleased and wondered why so unmuted. he was telling the world how wonderful the British people were in a disaster. and how they were going about their lives and not being hysterical, etc., etc.

I looked at his pleased face and once again muted.

But the scene has stayed with me and the anger at his demeanor.
