Bu$h proves once again he can't be trusted with the English Language
Edited on Fri Jul-22-05 11:53 AM by GreenPartyVoter

(At least this isn't gobbledy-gook, but still... is he speaking to a class of Kiddy-gartners?)

BALTIMORE (AP) - Nearly two weeks after terrorists launched a deadly strike on the London mass transit system, President Bush sought Wednesday to reassure Americans that his administration is working overtime to prevent attacks in the United States.

"What I'm telling you is that we're focused here," Bush said from the Port of Baltimore, where he got a waterside demonstration of cargo-screening techniques. "When you're at war, you can't lose sight of the fact that you're at war."

Among the state-of-the-art techniques Bush observed were computerized systems, sophisticated radiation detectors and advanced X-ray equipment.

"You can look inside in the truck, and you don't even have to get in it," Bush said afterward to an audience of state and local officials and port employees. "That's called technology. And it's working. It makes a big difference."

"You can look inside in the truck, and you don't even have to get in it. That's called technology."

4. That is how shrub gets his Presidential briefings.....
...he looks inside and never reads them. He has others do it for him and tells him what to say. That's called slacking off on the job!

10. And people say he's not actually stupid, that it's just an act. Bullshit.
The man is intensely stupid. The fact that he's risen to the highest political office says more about our society's entrenched systems of class priviledge than anything else.

Even his "Brain", Karl Rove, isn't particularly intelligent. He's got a low cunning and a complete lack of morality. That may get results in our political system, but it's not intelligence.
