Did Hitler ever orate about Germany's freedoms?
Wondering how far Bush could go in flipping the Bill of Rights and still talk about "freedom" without it looking completely hypocritical.

3. I wonder if this Daylight Savings thing is part of the plan
Next it'll be Daylight Savings Week, then Daylight Savings Month, and finally Daylight Savings Century.
They'll say "we can't hold an election now, it's not November 2008 yet!"

4. comic relief....
In the words of Jon Stewart:

"Please stop calling people Hitler, when you disagree with them. It demeans you, it demeans your opponent and to be honest, it demeans HITLER!"

6. A few quotes that might sound familiar
"The German people are not a warlike nation. It is a soldierly one, which means it does not want a war, but does not fear it. It loves peace but also loves its honor and freedom"

Always before God and the world, the stronger has the right to carry through what he wills"

"What we have to fight for is the freedom and independence of the fatherland, so that our people may be enabled to fulfill the mission assigned to it by the creator"

"The victor will never be asked if he told the truth."

"The broad masses of a population are more amenable to the appeal of rhetoric than to any other force."

"The leader of genius must have the ability to make different opponents appear as if they belonged to one category."

"There is a road to freedom. Its milestones are Obedience, Endeavor, Honesty, Order, Cleanliness, Sobriety, Truthfulness, Sacrifice, and love of the Fatherland."
