Need help- Being pounded by freepers
I am being pounded by freepers over the issue of the unreported Iraq deaths. Does anyone have a good number of the number of soldiers that later died of their wounds and are not counted in the official death count? If you don't have that, do you have numbers on the survivial rate of soldiers wounded?

4. You might lose that argument
There is no evidence that people that died later are not in the official count.

Just a random list of 7/05 casualties includes a soldier who died at Walter Reed of injuries suffered in Iraq.

6. No surprise you're being pounded: You're wrong
There are dozens of deaths on the official list who died Germany and stateside of wounds. You've just been misled, and now you're propagating an untruth.

That said, I'd rather have you disabused of that nonsense by DUers than by freepers.

7. Tell them that they are raising the enlistment age....
and hand them enlistment forms. Even one death from this crime against humanity is one too many!

9. Why confuse them with actual facts?
Edited on Fri Jul-22-05 07:58 PM by AuntieM1957
If they understood them, they wouldn't be freepers, would they?

You might try checking out Landstuhl Medical Center - that's where they go from Iraq.

I've sent packages to the soldiers there and corresponded with the chaplain and nurses - who say the soldiers need encouragement & diversions while recuperating.

but they carefully avoid giving out facts.

10. Have you seen this site?
The site that has been tracking all casualties of the Iraq war? Scroll down and there is a link to another external site that tracks Iraqi casualties as near as possible given the black-out on that info.

Here's the link: Casualty

12. FUCK the Freepers-
Why are you wasting your energy on
complete fools?
I don't understand why you would do
such a thing.
The fucking world is on fire and THEY
helped set the fire.
DO you REALLY expect logical comprehension
from illogical people?
PAH-LEEEEZE.
These are people who have voted for their
own, and our, demise.
I can not begin to comprehend what
you are thinking in such a pursuit.

15. Well, here's the thing
We are a discussion board with over 73,000 members and the folks who run this site are surprisingly democratic and tolerant. They don't tolerate everything certainly but they do allow some speculation.

You might do better to use the information you get here as a jumping off point and go do some of your own research elsewhere before attempting to argue a point over in their land, where by the way, they propagate plenty of speculation and untruths as well.

I think at this point, you might gain some points with them (which could be used later to pound another point) if you offered up a mea culpa though I wouldn't recommend staying around for the crowing.

14. If you are being pounded by freepers you must not be ...
... making a very good argument. They are helpless idiots. Don't be telling them things you don't know for certain, though. If they beat you, they'll designate you as a "typical" liberal. They just ignore and name call the liberals who wipe up the floor with them.
