I am concerned about this. I am concerned that our Democrats are not concerned. I am worried about the fact that even our beloved Howard Dean is endorsing candidates openly who are anti-choice, anti-birth control, and anti-stem cell research. I know he has to do it as chair, but if you start electing Democrats who are anti-everything....soon the women in our party will have been abandoned in order to win. It hurts me to see this.

This is pretty powerful. I urge our Democrats to take a stand. I know they can't win, but they can quit endorsing candidates who feel the way John Roberts does.

1. Stem cell research

I have young onset parkinsons disease. This current heat wave is a pain in the behind for me. I can walk, I am confined to a wheel chair. I need help to use the rest room by myself. I am on so many meds that i am sleeping 3/4 the day and I can't hold alot of my food down. Thats on the good days when i can hold a fork and tie my shoes. Oh did I mention I cant hold a job or drive Sound pretty so far huh? That's the easy stuff.

When I am in my bed my legs run the gambit from restless legs syndrome too muscles freezing to uncontroled corkscrew movements. Then thier on the hand tremors. So Mr Prolife Robert I have a proposition for you. If your so religious I challenge you or any other lifer out there to come and clean my bum when i have to crawl from my bed to the rest room and miss the toilet because of your religious beliefs.

Anytakers? I thought not. And now you prolifer's tell me I can't go to church because am a Democrat, geeze whats next. Taking away my social security so i cant feed my self or pay for my medication?
Good night Mr. Roberts allthough for the life of me I dont know how people like you can sleep at night.

And I dont blame the christians on this page or the main stream churches. Just the anti science types. Heck I go to church when able.

I guess I have to fight some feelings like that as well. We left our church over the war after being called unpatriotic because we did not agree it was a holy war.

I have to fight to get over that, as I raised in the church. So were my children. I guess it makes me determined to fight so they won't exert such control as that.

Remember that line in star wars? "No matter how hard you tighten your grasp the more systems will slip thru the fingers?" This is it for them. The world can't possibly get any more right and where still living. Hell this better body has one good fight left in it and I am not going to be using the marcus de queensbery rules anymore. :D
