Bush's trickle-up economic policy (a.k.a. Bushonomics)
Edited on Fri Jul-22-05 10:38 PM by ih8thegop
By cutting taxes to people who already have millions of dollars, Bush&Co. are practicing what I like to call Bushonomics, or trickle-up economics.

Since people with less pay more of their wealth in taxes to pay for a war in which Halliburton gets lucratiive contracts, Bush&Co. have instituted policies in which money trickles up from the poor to the wealthy.

Don't let Repubs let away with telling you the money from Bush's tax cut will trickle down. It's trickling up, and you make sure they know it.

1. Evaporate up is my take
I have used "evaporate up" for several years now in explaining what is going on as in "Forget the trickle down bullshit. Everything now is designed to evaporate up."

5. They believed it under Reagan even when it clearly didn't work
when it was called supply side econ. They do it again under Bush and the same jerks vote again for the pug selling it. Face it, there are so many uneducated, unthinking people in this country that it will always sell despite all the evidence it never worked and doesn't work.

7. Yeah, I have many family members like this and when I start
talking about it, you can see them tune out. They will usually end up saying something like well, Bush won't increase taxes for things they don't want like national health care. Well that's for damn sure. They don't put anything together though on what Iraq is costing and the waste going on there.
