CIA/FBI question
Stupid question, but I can not for the life of me remember the guy's name.

Who was the guy a few years ago who was an intelligence chief who had a brain tumor and died? And I seem to recall there was involvement with another agent around the same time as to some issue that both were involved with (no, not THAT kind of involvement!!!)

5. On the business of being involved in something or with someone...
... I would guess you are thinking about Iran/Contra. Casey was being pressured to testify about CIA involvement with the Contras and he was resisting. Then he was diagnosed with the brain tumor, and about the time that Congress got around to a subpoena for him, he underwent surgery for the tumor, which left him (some say conveniently) unable to speak. He died about four months after surgery, in 1986, I think.

Cheers.

8. Also...
Bob Woodward was criticized for his "deathbed" interview with Casey that was included in Woodward's book "Veil". Some say that Casey could not have possibly been coherent enough to talk to Woodward.
